WIOA 2026-2027 Combined State Plan Modification Public Hearings

The Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) and the Virginia State Rehabilitation Council invite your attendance at a Public Hearing to receive comment on the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) section of the Virginia Workforce Innovations and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Combined State Plan Modification for Program Years 2026-2027. WIOA requires that the Governor of each State submit a State Plan to the U.S. Departments of Education and Labor which outlines the State’s four-year strategy for its workforce development system. During the virtual meetings, a brief presentation will be made about the Combined State Plan, and comments will be received from the public. Please sign up by Tuesday, February 17, 2026 , to make comments during the virtual meetings, at lisa.robertson@dars.virginia.gov. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes for each speaker.
